Research Areas
- Nonuniform Sampling
- Time-frequency methods
- Channel estimation
- Compressive sensing
My research interests are based on the problem of signal reconstruction from nonuniform samples as a generalization of the compressive sensing method. In this problem a signal dependent nonuniform sampling method takes the place of random measurements and eliminates the restriction of the signal being sparse which can be extended to asynchronous signal processing.
I have also done research on time-frequency methods for wireless communication channel modeling and estimation. Currently, I am pursuing research on wavelets, nonlinear system identification methods and dimensionality reduction techniques for hyperspectral imaging.
