Welcome to Residential Life at New Mexico Tech. We are excited that you are considering living with us. We believe living on campus fosters student learning, development, and personal growth. We show dedication to our students by creating experiences and physical spaces that recognize the unique challenges and opportunities of being a Miner at New Mexico Tech. We are committed to providing intentional learning while facilitating a safe, inclusive, and academically focused environment.

Application Process:

Submit the online Housing Application
Submit the $200 housing deposit. It can be paid in one of the following ways:

Online via Banweb (Deposit Instructions)
Stop by the Cashier's office and pay in person
Mail a check payable to “New Mexico Tech” with the students 900 ID number in the memo line to :

Once both the application and the deposit are received, a confirmation email will be sent to your NMT student email.

Getting Your Tech Mailing Address

You can reserve a post office box at the US Post Office right here on campus.
If you’d like to give out your address ahead of time, you may call the USPS here at:
(575) 835‐5119 and they will reserve a box number for you.

Once you arrive, Photo ID will be necessary to complete your application and receive
access to your mail which should be addressed as follows:
