Image of Periodic Table of the Elements

With the opening of the Daniel H. López Chemistry Building on the New Mexico Tech University campus our Local Section began a dialog with the Chemistry Department on how it could help celebrate the opening of this new building. Among the identified projects our Local Section volunteered to support was the installation of a Periodic Table Donor Display to recognize future donors to their Chemistry Department program.

That Donor Display is now complete through the hard work of Dr. Michael Heagy, and donors can now have their generosity recognized through the sponsorship of an element for a period of one to ten years. At 8 feet by 14 feet it is likely the largest wall mounted periodic table in New Mexico and perhaps beyond.

There are a variety of recognition levels for sponsorship of an element. All proceeds are being dedicated to grad student summer support.

Student donation price for all elements are $150 and Non-Student donation price for all elements are $250.
