General Chemistry Laboratory (CHEM 121L)
Announcements:
Please view the "Pre-Lab Video", read the lab handout and answer the "Pre-Lab Safety Questions" (2nd section of the lab handout) before coming to the laboratory. You will not be allowed into the laboratory without having answered the "Pre-Lab Safety" questions. The laboratory will begin with a short Quiz, so please be ontime for class.
A model lab report for the first week's lab (Paper Chromatography) is available below. You may use as much of the verbiage in the model as you wish. However, all of the data and calculations must be your own work.
During this week's "Density" lab, we will be using a Pipette to transfer a liquid from one flask to another. A short video on using Pipettes properly is available at https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qorl6rKLmRs. Please take a few minutes to review this video.
