Anne photoAnne Tréhu: Co-PI

Anne Tréhu is a professor in the College of Earth Ocean and Atmospheric Sciences at Oregon State University.  Her research focuses on imaging crustal structure and studying the relationship between structure and deformation in order to understand processes at plate boundaries. Recent research has focused on the Cascadia and Chile subduction zones.

Glenn Spinelli is a professor in the Earth and Environmental Science Department at New Mexico Tech. Much of his research focuses on marine geology and hydrogeology. He studies the relationships between fluid and heat transport in ocean crust and their effect on processes such as subduction zone seismicity and sediment diagenesis.

Rob photoRob Harris: Co-PI

Robert Harris, professor emeritus in the College of Earth, Ocean, and Atmospheric Sciences at Oregon State University. Much of his research focuses on marine thermal processes and hydrothermal circulation. He studies relationships between heat and fluid transport in ocean crust and their effect on subduction zone seismicity.

Danqi photoDanqi Jiang: Science team member

Danqi is a graduate student at Jackson School of Geosciences in the University of Texas at Austin. She completed a M.S. in Marine Geology at Hohai University. Her research interest is to investigate fault slip behavior, deformation evolution, and earthquake hazards along the Cascadia and Hikurangi subduction margins.

Tom is a graduate student in the Hydrology program in the Earth and Environmental Science Department at New Mexico Tech. He completed a B.S. in Geology at Southern Methodist University.

Aldiyar_photoAldiyar Mukhatzhanov: Science team member

Aldiyar is a Rutgers University graduate student in the Earth and Planetary Science Department. He studies the Oligocene-Miocene sedimentation on the Mid-Atlantic margin based on 2D/3D seismic reflection data and ODP/IODP drilling results. Aldiyar completed a B.S. in Geophysics at the Kazakh National Technical University (now Satbayev University) and an M.S. in Petroleum Geoscience at the University of Manchester.

Ben is a graduate student in the Geophysics program in the Earth and Environmental Science Department at New Mexico Tech. He completed a B.S. in Geology at College of Charleston.

Perry photoMatt Perry: Science team member

Matt is a Senior Research Associate at the Planetary Science Institute. He serves as a Science Team member of the Mars Reconnaissance Orbiter (MRO) Shallow Radar (SHARAD) experiment (https://sharad.psi.edu) and manages a number of planetary science web-applications including the Colorado SHARAD Processing System (CO-SHARPS) and MARSTHERM: Thermophysical Analysis Tools for Mars Research (https://marstherm.psi.edu). His current research portfolio involves identifying and characterizing the subsurface water ice inventory in the mid-latitudes of Mars (https://swim.psi.edu), applying three-dimensional imaging techniques developed for terrestrial seismic investigations to work with MRO SHARAD observations, and developing a public-facing Planetary Orbital Radar Processing and Simulation System (PORPASS).
