2019 Annual Conference in Mining and Public Policy 

The annual conference in Mining and Best Practices in Public Policy will promote interchange of ideas and current practices in the fields of mining, government, public policy, and the private sector. It provides professional and academic development opportunities. Attendees will be coming mainly from the USA, Mexico, and Canada institutions and universities; federal, local, and municipal government officials; scholars,  and leaders of professional associations.

In 2018, New Mexico Tech will sign agreements of collaborations and promote the Inaugural Conference for September 2019. One key institution to accomplish this initiative is to work together and sign a Memorandum of Understanding with the non-profit Americas Conference of Mayors with offices in Albuquerque and Puebla, Mexico.
