Attorney, entrepreneur, investor, and business leader with a background in legal finance, organizational development, and business strategy. Launched, operated, scaled, and successfully exited a tech-enabled professional services business from scratch to over $250m in revenue, 2000+ employees, and 18 locations worldwide. Took an idea and turned it into a disruptive, global business that became the world's largest and fastest-growing non-traditional provider of tech-enabled legal services. Extensive teaching career from San Quentin State Prison to UCLA Anderson School of Management. He is currently the general partner in an early-stage climate tech venture capital firm. He lives in Santa Fe with their wife and three children.

 

His professional experience includes working as a co-founder, general partner of Dangerous ventures (2020 – present); board member, New Mexico Climate Investment Center (2024-present); member - board of advisors, UNC Law Institute for Innovation (2019 – present); lecturer and faculty advisor, UCLA Anderson School of Business (2016-present); and Managing director, Biltmore Labs, Angel Invest, advisor, board member (2015 – present).
